About the Role

As a Site Services Operative at Greggs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the daily running and maintenance of our manufacturing and distribution centres. Your primary responsibility will be to support the day-to-day hygiene operations of your site, guaranteeing that our colleagues work in the safest and most hygienic environments, and that our loyal customers receive the highest quality of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the site, including laundry, waste disposal, recycling, and traywash.
  • Ensure the maintenance of high-level canteen and external site facilities.
  • Work effectively and safely in line with food safety, health and safety, and hygiene processes.
  • Support across a range of site hygiene operations, including maintaining high-level canteen and external site facilities.
  • Work in a chilled environment and be exposed to flour and dust.
About You
  • You have experience in following processes and procedures and working in a fast-paced environment where timescales and targets are important.
  • You are comfortable with standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
  • You have had some exposure to using SAP systems (desirable).
  • You are happy in a role that involves a lot of cleaning and have ideally had exposure to working in a food hygiene environment.
