Venterra Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geophysicist to join our Geoscience Service Line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading offshore geotechnical campaigns and providing technical expertise to support our clients' projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement geoscience strategies for offshore wind farm projects
- Manage site investigation teams and on-site representatives to ensure high-quality data delivery
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to navigate third-party impacts and devise mitigation strategies
- Supervise the interpretation of geotechnical datasets and conduct comprehensive site characterisations
- Assess and onboard new site investigation contractors, technologies, and methodologies to enhance local supply chain participation and project efficiency
- Proven experience in running large offshore geotechnical campaigns
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of the offshore wind industry
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead teams to deliver high-quality results
