Your Role:

As a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for complex control systems within the Defense sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and adherence to project roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize software development tools for issue tracking, configuration control, and rigorous software testing.
  • Analyze new customer requirements and assess their impact on existing control systems. Lead the design and delivery of innovative solutions to meet evolving needs.
  • Bridge the gap between software and hardware by encompassing both new designs and ensuring compliance with existing interfaces.
Your Expertise:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in software development principles and experience working within the Defense Industry.

  • Proven experience developing software for embedded control systems, ideally within the Defense sector.
  • Proficiency in PLC software development (Emerson PLC IEC Ladder Logic is highly advantageous).
  • In-depth knowledge of coding best practices and software engineering methodologies.
  • Ability to design robust database structures using tools like Entity Framework and entity models.
  • Skilled in one or more programming languages, including Visual Basic, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
  • Understanding of software architecture design patterns and principles.
  • Excellent technical documentation skills.
  • Solid grasp of networking concepts and design principles.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and ladder logic software.
  • Experience with software version control systems (e.g., Git) and task management tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps).
Security Clearance:

This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a valid BPSS or SC security clearance.
