About the Role

Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a Senior Practitioner to join our team in Older People Social Work Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership, supervise and support staff development, and assist the team manager with core operational tasks.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Is passionate, skilled, innovative, and people-centred.
  • Has a high standard of written work and can demonstrate analysis or synthesis of complex information.
  • Confident in knowledge of legislative frameworks.
  • Skilled communicator with an ability to show leadership in practice.
  • Experience of supervision, coaching, or mentoring of colleagues.
  • Has a sound knowledge of risk and can demonstrate enabling practice in relation to this.
  • Ideal experience of working with older people and significant insight into the challenges and opportunities this work provides.

Essential Qualifications

You will be a qualified Social Worker (holding a BA (Hons) Social Work or MSc in Social Work), with extensive experience of working within statutory frameworks supporting adults in the community. You will hold an accredited post-qualifying award or be willing to work towards the award within the first 2 years of appointment.
