Job Title: Senior Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join our team at Morgan Hunt. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a key role in our design studio, overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of hospitality projects.

About the Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process from concept development through to project completion, ensuring adherence to client requirements, budgets, and timelines. You will utilise your extensive experience in hospitality design to create innovative and captivating interior spaces that reflect the brand identity and enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the design process, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of projects.
  2. Collaborate with clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into the design development process.
  3. Oversee and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to source materials, furnishings, and finishes that meet project specifications and quality standards.
  5. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the smooth execution and successful delivery of design projects.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong focus on hospitality projects.
  3. Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering high-profile, large-scale projects from conception to completion.
  4. Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  5. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to hospitality design.
