We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LIMS Administrator to join our Laboratory Team on a permanent basis. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day administration of our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage the day-to-day administration of the LIMS system, ensuring seamless integration with laboratory processes and analytical services.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with key suppliers and internal customers to support the effective use of LIMS in analytical services.
- Ensure compliance with service requirements and regulatory standards, serving as a credible liaison with suppliers and incident managers.
- Collaborate with the Quality Manager to capture quality-driven processes through LIMS data, driving continuous improvement and excellence in laboratory operations.
- Education to A-level standard or equivalent, with demonstrated experience working within a scientific laboratory and understanding of laboratory processes.
- A scientific degree is desirable, along with registration with a professional body and in-depth knowledge of LIMS (Labware) and databases (SQL).
- Comfortable making decisions following agreed principles, with a good understanding of laboratory environment processes and associated QA processes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with 3rd-party external providers.
