Job Title: Production Assistant - Warehouse Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant - Warehouse Operative to join our team at Guidant Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation of various finishing equipment, maintaining machinery, and ensuring product quality standards are achieved and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation of various finishing equipment, including but not limited to:
    • Neopost mailing machines, Paragon pressure sealers / folding machine and Duplo booklet maker/finisher, fusion encloser
  • Operate and maintain specified machines to the expected standards
  • Complete consumables stock takes for the machines as required
  • Maintain machinery to required standard of housekeeping
  • Ensure product quality standards are achieved and maintained on the machines
  • Assist in the hand-enclosing team if necessary (manual input of letters into envelopes)
  • Adhere to all process standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a print/mail environment or similar
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic PC Literacy
  • A willingness to learn new skills and be flexible
  • An ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
  • An ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • A willingness to work overtime when required

Working Conditions:

This role will involve manual handling and safety footwear is required. Rotating shift: 6-2/2-10 changing on a weekly basis with requirement to work both shifts (Mon-Fri).
