This opportunity offers a chance to work on a diverse range of projects, including education, health, defence, leisure, and hospitality. You will have the opportunity to work with a top contractor on exciting projects and develop your skills in commercial and contractual expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project team with commercial and contractual expertise
- Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Implement policies for risk management
- Prepare and present monthly cost reports
- Value works executed by Sub-Contractors
- Certify interim and final payments
- Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns
- Manage the preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims, and disputes
- Monitor and track project costs, including variations, change orders, and progress payments, to ensure financial control and accuracy
Requirements:
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a construction-related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and cost analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with quantity surveying software
- Relevant driving license
