We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Assistant to join our team at SPAR Kirkby Stephen. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
