About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Design Authority to join our team at Odd Shoes, a leading provider of innovative defence solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex battlefield communications systems for our C4ISR customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop systems across the entire lifecycle, including hardware, software, firmware, and electronics.
  • Work with our team to create and implement cutting-edge military-grade COTS communications and sensor systems.
  • Collaborate with our requirements management team to ensure that all systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • SC clearance as a single British passport holder (DV clearance may be required for certain projects).
  • Experience with modern C, Java, and C# programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies and military-grade communications systems.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or similar.
