Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our BRAND NEW Factory in Nostell, Wakefield. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide plant-wide maintenance services, departmental support, and repairs to maintain production targets.
  • Monitor and supply engineering support for machine set-up and changeovers to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
  • Ensure PPMs and commissioning stages are followed.
Requirements:
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship and qualification or equivalent (e.g. NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above) in Mechanical or Electrical.
  • High degree of health and safety awareness.
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
