Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Charge Nurse to join our Learning Disability Community Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients with complex health and care needs, identifying and implementing appropriate nursing interventions, and working in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, carers, families, and a range of agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex health and care needs
  • Identify and implement appropriate nursing interventions
  • Work in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team, service users, carers, families, and a range of agencies
  • Manage own caseload and provide support to junior nurses in managing their caseloads
  • Deputise for the Nurse Team Lead in their absence
Requirements
  • Excellent nursing skills and a passion for meeting the needs and improving lives of people with a Learning Disability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to participate in continuous professional development
