Job Title: Financial Accountant/Controller

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Accountant/Controller to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial processes, systems, and controls are operating effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the transactional team and oversee/review sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock, cash, bank, and GL entries
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that financial processes, systems, and controls are operating effectively
  • Maintain statutory records for the business
  • Company taxation management (VAT, Corporation Tax, etc.)
  • Fixed asset & capital allowances
  • Treasury management, liaising with banks, forecasting & MI data submission
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaise with auditors and preparing audited accounts
  • Project management of process changes and implementations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements:

  • Experienced Financial Accountant/Controller
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and Database Skills
  • Manufacturing background - advantageous
