We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Team Leader to join our team at First Military Recruitment Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical and electrical engineers, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the estate to identify and address any potential health and safety risks.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to procure materials, tools, and services for maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise the running of M&E projects, including consulting with other team leaders to implement skills such as maintenance and ICT.
  • Produce weekly reports for the Facilities Team Manager and weekly planners for the team.
Requirements:
  • Recognised formal Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City and Guilds or equivalent).
  • Considerable experience as a building service engineer for a large organisation.
  • Reading and understanding of drawings.
  • Hands-on experience of building services and building management control systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety, Electricity at Work regulations and COSHH requirements.
  • Experience of fault-finding techniques.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Computer literate with a good standard of ICT knowledge including Microsoft Office.

Salary:

£45,000 - £47,000 (Dependant on Experience)

Working Hours:

40 hours per week (Overtime Opportunities Available)
