Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Quality Lead to join our team in Team Valley, Gateshead. As a Quality Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our finished products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with customer specifications and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the production team and production leads to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring all controls and allergen risks are adhered to.
  • Collect and log samples for testing, including Gluten/Milk and microbiological testing.
  • Carry out environmental swabbing and water testing as required.
  • Maintain set hygiene standards and ensure clean as you go procedure is followed at all times.
  • Follow traceability procedures to ensure all Raw Materials, Packaging, Work in Progress, and Finished product are identified/labelled at all times.
  • Follow manual handling guidelines and safe systems of work at all times.
  • Complete monthly Glass Hard/Plastic Audits and raise any corrective actions.
  • Perform intake checks of new key materials (Raw & Packaging).
Requirements:
  • Good verbal and written English communication.
  • Level 2 Food Safety (provided by Business).
