Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant EYFS

Location: Redbridge
Salary: £90-£105 per day
Hours: Full-time
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Redbridge. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of our students, working closely with experienced teachers to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored learning activities and provide one-on-one support and small group sessions to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with teachers to prepare and organize classroom materials and resources, fostering a love for learning and promoting academic excellence.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the well-being and safeguarding of all students.
  • Support the management of student behavior and encourage positive social interactions, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers to inform future learning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with primary school-aged children, preferably in a teaching assistant role.
  • A passionate individual with a genuine commitment to fostering a love for learning and promoting academic excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask with changing priorities, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
  • Patience and resilience with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations, prioritizing the well-being and safety of our students.
  • A relevant qualification or willingness to undertake training, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
