As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in Derby and Derbyshire to access the right help, at the right time, in the right setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
- Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
- Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a core professional qualification relevant to mental health, such as CWP IAPT, PMHW, nursing with specialism in mental health or learning disability nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a Professional qualification relevant to mental health CBT therapist. You will also need to have evidence of continued professional development and a willingness to study further if required.
