Freelance SIA Tutor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance SIA Tutor to join our team at Learning Curve Group. As a Freelance SIA Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our learners, ensuring they achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a timetable of teaching, learning, and assessment as agreed with your Tutor Delivery Manager.
- Undertake qualification delivery planning in collaboration with team members to ensure compliance with external requirements.
- Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression among learners.
- Complete all E-registers in a timely manner to the required standards.
- Monitor attendance and performance of learners on an ongoing basis and effectively report to management.
- Ensure learner requirements are dealt with quickly and effectively.
- Deliver teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure a positive learner experience and timely achievement.
- Ensure individual learning plans and progress reviews are completed appropriately to meet individual learner requirements, including setting smart targets.
- Timely completion of assessment and documentation to meet awarding body, audit, and organisational requirements.
- Submit portfolios in a timely manner for interim and summative verification and work with the IV to ensure quality improvement.
- Undertake appropriate learning and development activities as required for the job role and maintain a record of all CPD.
- Contribute to learner disciplinary action requirements where appropriate.
- Attend standardisation and team meetings at designated centres to develop team and individual performance.
Promote and ensure safe working practices and safeguarding of learners in line with current Health and Safety legislation and LCG Safeguarding and Prevent policies.
Essential Criteria:- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
- Hold an Assessing Qualification.
- Relevant Occupational Experience in the Sector you are applying for.
- Level 3 and above Sector Qualifications.
- Access and use of your own resources.

As an Associate Tutor with Learning Curve Group, you will have the flexibility to pick and choose how often you would like to teach to accommodate your other commitments. You will receive support from your Tutor Delivery Manager, starting with an in-depth and thorough onboarding process, and regular contact and updates over Microsoft Teams or face-to-face if you're passing the office.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners, and the successful applicant will be required to provide satisfactory references and prove their eligibility to work in the UK. We will also carry out adverse media checks and a DBS check, and ask for information related to previous convictions if you are shortlisted for interview.
