Job Title: Mathematics Educator

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Location: Gillingham, Kent

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our team at a popular secondary school. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Mathematics curriculum to GCSE level and be able to inspire students in the classroom with fun and engaging lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct pupils' learning through planning, preparation, and marking
  • Teach Mathematics to KS3 and KS4
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of the Mathematics curriculum to GCSE level
  • Hold QTS (ECTs considered)
  • Ability to inspire students in the classroom with fun and engaging lessons
  • Ability to teach mixed-ability classes, differentiating for SEND and challenging the most academic
  • Proactive and can-do attitude
