Senior Analyst - Nuclear Industry

Are you a skilled and experienced FE analyst looking for a challenging role in the nuclear field? We are seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join our team in the UK, working on exciting projects for a global engineering company.

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting and reviewing analysis of complex structures, post-processing data, and contributing to the improvement of our engineering processes. You will work closely with our team of engineers and problem solvers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and review analysis of complex structures using FEM packages (experience with Ansys is beneficial)
  • Post-processing data and results to deliver reinforced concrete designs
  • Contributing to the improvement of our engineering processes, including in-house programmed tools
  • Coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project teams
  • Aiding with the training and upskilling of our current team of analysts
Requirements
  • Master's in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the use of Ansys or equivalent structural FEM software
  • Experience in the analysis of reinforced concrete structures, including dynamic analysis for seismic, blast, etc.
  • Programming skills in one or several languages are a plus
  • Agile and self-motivated, with a focus on improving personal and team performance
