Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in East Grinstead. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and driving sales and performance across all key performance indicators (KPIs). You'll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the store runs smoothly, and you'll be empowered to make decisions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.
  2. Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve store standards, stock control, and recruitment processes.
  4. Work closely with the Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets, and to identify opportunities for business growth.
  5. Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 year's management experience in a retail environment.
  2. Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
