Clinical Research Nurse - Contract Role - Flexible Hours
This is a remarkable opportunity for individuals with experience in clinical trials within the healthcare sector, seeking to transition into the pharmaceutical field. If you possess a background in patient interaction during early-phase clinical studies, this position may align well with your career aspirations.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting clinical trials.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Addressing urgent medical situations in accordance with nursing protocols.
- Gathering comprehensive medical histories from participants.
- Administering investigational medications (including injectable forms) to study participants in compliance with established protocols and regulations.
- Conducting study-related tasks such as venipuncture, telemetry, holter monitoring, vital sign assessments, and ECGs.
- Collecting and processing biological specimens in line with the study protocol and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Documenting data accurately and promptly as per the study protocol and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Transcribing source data onto the Case Report Form.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Intermediate Life Support (ILS) certification is preferred.
- Relevant nursing experience in clinical settings.
