About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HS&Q Manager to join our team at Allen & York. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in creating systems and policies for our operations, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and quality.

The successful candidate will have a background in health and safety, ideally in a management capacity, with experience in setting up new systems, audit programs, and implementing best practices. You will be responsible for assessing risks throughout the company, creating policy and working practices to ensure standards are met, and fostering a culture of ownership among employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health, safety, and quality policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and education to employees on health, safety, and quality procedures
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health, safety, and quality

Requirements:

  • Qualification to Diploma level or equivalent experience
  • Background in health and safety, ideally in a management capacity
  • Experience working with management systems and auditing qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
