Job Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at our Avonmouth Depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a skip lorry and working in and around the Bristol area.

Responsibilities

  1. Delivering, removing, and exchanging skips and/or hook bins
  2. Driving HGV refuse vehicles (RCV) if required and carrying out collections of wheelie bins at commercial properties
  3. Carrying out routine vehicle checks
  4. Making sure that the load is correctly placed and is secure
  5. Maintaining a log book with details of trips, including rest breaks
  6. Having at least one year of HGV Class 2 experience
  7. Holding a valid DCPC and Category C licence
  8. Being reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  9. Having a great attitude and strong work ethic
  10. Being capable and confident in your ability
