Job Overview

Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Principal Package Equipment Engineer. This role is focused on upcoming FEED projects and will be based in our Reading office on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing data sheets for vendor packages, including process systems, water treatment facilities, fired heaters, flares, and boilers.
  • Creating requisitions for inquiries related to Long Lead Items.
  • Assessing and evaluating bids from equipment suppliers for Long Lead Items and compiling bid evaluation reports.
  • Preparing budget inquiries to assist in cost estimation.
  • Providing expert support and guidance on matters related to package equipment.
Required Qualifications
  • Significant experience in a contracting environment, specifically with vendor packages in FEED and EPC projects within the oil and gas, refinery, and petrochemical sectors.
  • Adaptable mindset with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant API and ASME codes and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
