Job Title: Lifting Operations Manager

Altrad Babcock is seeking an experienced Lifting Operations Manager to lead all lifting operations for the company as the project Lifting Technical Authority.

The successful candidate will oversee all project lifting activities to ensure they are executed in a safe and compliant manner, applying good governance in accordance with the company's safety, quality, and site procedures.

This role requires a strong understanding of lifting operations, construction management, and project management principles, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage all lifting construction management aspects of construction sub-contractors within the area of product or project.
  • Define specifications and standards and documentation to complete construction lifting activities.
  • Lead and optimise the construction lifting activities, including the interface with design and engineering teams, to ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements.
  • Apply governance across project lifting operations to ensure consistency of application.
  • Initiate audit and review of construction activities and site activities to ensure compliance with specification, schedule, and legal obligations.
  • Develop the company's lifting capability from the nominated resources to successfully execute the project in all construction lifting aspects.
Requirements:
  • CPCS Appointed Person (Blue Card)
  • Construction Operations or Project Management experience and Subcontract Package Management experience
