Commercial Gas Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Nova Artes Engineering. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with optional overtime and travel time included. The applicant will also be expected to participate in our on-call rota (1 in 6) to perform PPM and repairs to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine PPM, servicing, breakdown, and installation work.
  • Report back to management on work completed, providing evidence on our PDA-based system.
  • Work effectively within a team or individually.
  • Risk assess work and working environments before starting any work to avoid injuries, and undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
  • Identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to our set company standard.
  • Maintain your allocated company vehicle in a clean and tidy condition at all times, wear the correct uniform, and dispose of waste in accordance with company/HSE regulations.
Person Specification:
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence desired).
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Ability to work on a call-out rota - 1 in 6.
  • Proof of qualifications required at the interview stage.
