Warehouse Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Handle goods received and dispatched, including picking and packing items for dispatch, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Participate in stock takes and cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Update warranty and other databases for serial number tracked items.
- Handle repairs and returns of non-conforming and faulty goods.
- Comply with Hazardous Goods transport procedures and Known Consignor standards.
- Participate in product and administrative training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide facilities support, including minor maintenance tasks, and ensure efficient dispatch of outgoing post.
- Adhere to Health and Safety and Quality Assurance procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Good secondary education, literate and numerate.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physically capable of handling loads and able to lift up to 25kg.
- Preferred packing/warehousing background and computer literate with accurate inputting skills.
- Quick learner for computerized tasks and flexible in handling company equipment and post.
- Dangerous Goods and Known Consignor training is advantageous.
