Acorn Training is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead growth within our established contracts in the East, West Midlands, and North West regions.

As a key member of our team, you will cultivate strategic partnerships with employers, educational institutions, and stakeholders to expand our reach and impact. Your expertise in sales, relationship building, and market knowledge will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities and ensuring the continued success of our training programs.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns in collaboration with our marketing team to promote Acorn Training's comprehensive range of services and training programs.
  • Identify, cultivate, and nurture relationships with potential employers, partners, and key stakeholders within your designated region.
  • Proactively prospect for new learners, employers, and referral partners aligned with the specific requirements of our contracts.
  • Manage your sales pipeline effectively, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent growth and achievement of revenue targets.
  • Utilize CRM systems and other tools to meticulously track progress, manage interactions, and generate accurate forecasts.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to onboarding and delivery of training programs.
  • Represent Acorn Training at industry events, networking opportunities, and exhibitions to build brand awareness and connect with potential clients.
  • Share best practices and insights with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Your Qualifications:

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the training or education sector. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential. A strong understanding of the local market landscape and key industry trends is highly desirable.
