Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to become a part of a dynamic team within a prominent community development organization focused on residential projects.
The ideal Electrical Technician will be responsible for executing a variety of installation tasks in both occupied and vacant residences. This role is contractual with the potential for a long-term position following a successful initial period, offering a competitive hourly compensation, a company vehicle, and a fuel allowance, along with comprehensive onboarding, clear advancement opportunities, and numerous additional perks upon transitioning to a permanent role.
This Electrical Technician position entails:

  • Locations in Coventry and Birmingham
  • Engagement with community housing initiatives
  • Competitive hourly compensation
  • Standard workweek from Monday to Friday, totaling 37 hours

The successful Electrical Technician will be tasked with:
  • Rewiring projects
  • Upgrading fuse boards
  • Enhancing lighting systems
  • Conducting various other installation activities

We are eager to connect with Electrical Technicians who possess the following qualifications:
  • JIB Gold Card certification
  • Valid UK driving license
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification
  • Experience in community housing

A DBS Check will be required for this position.
