About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Planning Specialist to join our team at Canon. As a Business Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining sales reporting elements to manage and improve the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create product performance reports and analyze sales progression and results for office products.
  • Engage with Product Management and Sales to highlight challenges and propose counter measures when performance deviates from the plan.
  • Manage pricing information to update price changes or new product prices with product planning in systems, databases, and administration.
  • Take a role in managing budget processes and administration, including setting up budget infrastructure, scheduling, and process management.
  • Manage support processes to ensure accurate communication and information with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI report development and data visualization (Microsoft Power BI certification desirable).
  • Knowledge of MS Access and tools and techniques such as SQL data connections and DAX to automate data gathering, processing, and presentation in systems.
  • Technical proficiency in database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
  • Strong analytical skills for designing and implementing reports and processes, with the ability to adhere to timescales and ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
