Job Title: Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Assistant to join our team at Richard Jackson Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in promoting sustainable travel and monitoring the outcome.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the promotion of sustainable travel and monitoring the outcome.
  2. Liaise with suppliers and manage the supply and delivery of company-related products and marketing literature.
  3. Work alongside our current marketing agency and create independent material in promoting the business, including monitoring and contributing to social media groups and pages.
  4. Produce marketing material for print and web use.
  5. Experience and use of Adobe Creative Cloud Packages, including Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator or similar.
  6. Assist in coordinating and delivering promotional event initiatives, our annual marketing strategy, and Travel Plan initiatives, bespoke to target communities.
Requirements:
  1. Preferably a minimum of 1+ years' experience within a Digital Marketing role.
  2. Experience in managing SEO and Social Media campaigns.
  3. Have an analytical thought process.
  4. Good understanding of websites (design and function).
  5. A passion for digital marketing with an awareness of emerging trends and industry changes.
  6. Excellent understanding of the digital marketing channels listed above.
Personal Attributes and Skills:
  1. Good communicator with both peers and clients.
  2. Competent with the use of basic Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
  3. Excellent organizational skills.
  4. Knowledge in up-selling at appropriate opportunities and confidence in pitching our services to prospective clients.
  5. Experience within a marketing agency environment would be advantageous.
