We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients.
Job Purpose- Oversee a portfolio of clients, providing expert audit services to SMEs across various sectors.
- Deliver high-quality audit files, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare statutory accounts and simple corporation tax computations.
- Oversee workflow and delegate audit engagements to junior team members.
- Support the development of junior team members through constructive mentorship and training.
- Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on audit matters and technical information.
- Support business development initiatives, identifying new service lines and opportunities for existing and potential clients.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded accountancy practice in Hertfordshire, providing an all-encompassing accountancy service to a loyal portfolio of business clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounting, with experience in supervising and leading audit teams. You will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commercial mindset.
Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified with demonstrable experience in practice.
- Working knowledge of corporate taxes and audit regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Previous supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
- A commercial mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
