At Redwood Bank, we are seeking a talented Treasury and ALM professional to join our team on a one-year fixed-term contract. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an entry-level finance professional looking to gain hands-on experience and exposure across multiple facets of Treasury and ALM.

About the Role

This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of all Treasury and ALM operations across the Bank. Key responsibilities include internal daily reporting of ALM positions, management of IRRBB, and assisting in the management and maintenance of the Bank's ALM systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. 
   
   
2. Internal daily reporting of ALM positions to senior management.
   
   
3. Management of IRRBB through proposal of swaps to Treasury, and subsequent Hedge Accounting activities.
   
   
4. Assisting in the management and maintenance of the Bank's ALM systems, producing necessary report outputs.
   
   
5. Assisting in the preparation of the Banks regulatory reporting requirements, including Single Customer View.
   
   
6. Assisting in the preparation and reconciliation of PRA/FCA/BOE returns.
   
   
7. Management of Treasury Assets using TMS.
   
   
8. Ensuring that integrity of Regulatory and ALM reporting is robust and reconciled to internal reporting and core systems.
   
   
9. Internal ledger reconciliations, between Treasury, ALM, and Regulatory Reporting modules.
   
   
10. System data flow analysis documentation.
    
    

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a Finance Educational Background, having recently achieved an A-Level in mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in Finance, together with an understanding of the banking sector and some understanding of Treasury in particular. The ideal candidate will have a driven mindset and detailed approach to analysis as well as good excel skills.
