About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Arcus Solutions. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our Sainsbury's stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery and equipment to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance of store facilities.
  • Carry out thorough cleaning activities, including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping, to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers.
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies to ensure a high level of cleanliness.
  • Work outside to maintain trolley bays and ensure they are free of leaves and debris.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is beneficial, but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • An eye for detail and cleanliness is essential to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service is required to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • A smartphone with the capability to access our Arcus Connect App is required for recording time and attendance.
