Job Summary
The Royal British Legion is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Regional Outreach Officer to join our Outreach Service team in the Southeast Midlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of beneficiaries, providing advice, guidance, and advocacy support to achieve positive outcomes in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of beneficiaries across the Southeast Midlands region, providing holistic support to address complex challenges related to homelessness, mental health, addiction, and dependency, domestic abuse, and the Criminal Justice system.
- Work closely with the Regional Lead Outreach and the Outreach Southeast Midlands team to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective collaboration with wider Outreach Service team members across the UK.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, stakeholders, and partner organizations to ensure effective service delivery and outcomes.
- Conduct face-to-face appointments and meetings with beneficiaries, as well as participate in organizational meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by beneficiaries and the ability to provide holistic support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with beneficiaries, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
