Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be engaged in a permanent role that involves shift work, either on a 4 on 4 off basis (days and nights) or a panama shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance across the blow moulding and dairy production areas.
- Proactively identify root causes of equipment failures and restore functionality promptly.
- Seek and implement cost-effective enhancements to site assets and machinery, focusing on improving efficiency and reliability.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in interpreting Electrical, Pneumatic, and Mechanical drawings.
- Basic automation skills for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Strong electrical skills (HNC equivalent) and sound mechanical skills for diagnosis and replacement tasks.
Maintenance Duties:
- Diligently complete all maintenance tasks, including Planned Maintenance (PM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), Continuous Improvement (CI), and corrective actions.
What We Are Looking For:
- HNC in Electrical Engineering preferred, with Mechanical qualifications or competencies.
- Experience in maintenance within the manufacturing sector.
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification is desirable.
