Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Commercial Project Superintendent to oversee Tenant Improvement projects and new development projects. The successful candidate will manage the construction process, identify and solve problems, and maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction process, including identifying and solving problems that arise.
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and employees.
  • Work with local municipalities to ensure proper permitting and inspections.
  • Help to establish and maintain project schedules, including start, progress, and completion schedules.
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for their performance.
  • Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts as they relate to each individual trade involved in the construction of the project.
  • Ensure completion of all final punch lists and that projects are completed before final payment and/or occupancy.
  • Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to speak in public with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), QuickBooks, Yardi or other property management software.
  • Full-time salary $90,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
