Position Overview:

Our client, Cammach Bryant, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative for a permanent role. This position is crucial for maintaining an efficient and organized inventory system.


Key Responsibilities:


- Provide a comprehensive warehouse service to facilitate precise stock management and secure storage of materials and goods necessary for operations.

- Collaborate with various internal teams daily to ensure all operational needs are met effectively.

- Adhere to the quality management system and safety protocols.

- Verify that all incoming goods correspond with purchase orders and delivery documentation, conducting inspections to confirm they are undamaged, in line with company standards.

- Maintain open communication with the Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Management to ensure all work objectives are fulfilled.

- Keep all inventory records current and accurate, including client-owned, company-owned, rental items, and workshop components.

- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely, with training provided as necessary.

- Prepare and document shipments, including packing containers and pallets.

- Ensure all material documentation is accurately maintained in the company database and ERP system.

- Confirm that all lifting certifications for containers and shipments are valid.

- Complete all necessary paperwork for clients, ensuring copies are included with shipments as required.

- Update various logs, including container movements and rentals.

- Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective inventory management, stock control, and accurate billing.

- Prepare documentation for hazardous materials as needed, with training available.

- Collaborate with Operations Support to meet client expectations.

- Participate in on-call service rotations.

- Work with the QHSE department to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.

- Assist in preparing jobs for the workshop.

- Engage in internal and external audits and stocktaking as required.

- Actively contribute to the 5S and tagging initiatives.

- Coordinate material movements with both internal and external clients.


Qualifications:

- Proficient in all facets of warehouse and logistics operations.

- Strong communication and writing abilities.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Familiarity with IT systems.

- Comprehensive understanding of tools and spare parts necessary for offshore and onshore operations.

- Knowledge of regulatory certifications for offshore and onshore activities.

- Solid grasp of logistics and equipment management.

- Flexibility to adapt to client requirements and operational policies.

- Valid driving license and forklift certification are mandatory.

- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

- Self-driven and capable of performing under pressure.
