We are currently seeking an experienced Gas Installation Surveyor to join our team at JRM Recruitment. This is a field-based role that requires attending client properties to assess the type of work required for installing a replacement boiler or a full heating survey for complete installation of a wet central heating system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality installations and workmanship from team members.
  • Assess residents' or clients' needs or requirements with regards to the type of boiler or system to be fitted, taking into consideration factors such as water mains pressure and gas supplies.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with clients, customers, employees, and sub-contractors, ensuring all queries are responded to effectively.
  • Explain to the resident or customer the works that are necessary, including any alterations to the property or removal of cupboards.
  • Complete job administration from site, forwarding to the install office survey form complete with an overview of materials required to complete the works.
  • Ensure employee and customer safety is maintained and delivered at all times.
  • Quality control of work to ensure it is completed to the standard expected by the client.
  • Assist the complaints team in resolving customer or client queries within time frames, providing feedback to relevant staff on any issues found.
  • Assist the management team as and when required, plus any other reasonable managerial request.
