Project Technical Controls Specialist

As a Project Technical Controls Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Controls Manager, ensuring the successful execution of project control methodologies across various project segments. This position is essential for maintaining core project control functions, including governance, financial management, risk assessment, change management, and scheduling.

You will be part of a growing terminal that holds significant importance for the energy infrastructure and supply security in the UK. Our facility is recognized as the largest Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal in Europe and ranks eighth globally in terms of tank capacity, encompassing an extensive site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the implementation of Project Controls systems and provide necessary training.
  • Support the establishment of governance frameworks.
  • Comprehend project contractual obligations.
  • Ensure the coordination and consistency of financial, scheduling, progress, and risk reporting.
  • Assist in determining staffing needs for Project Controls.
  • Coordinate the formulation of Project Controls execution strategies and aid in project completion.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficient knowledge and experience in project control methodologies.
  • Experience in project execution.
  • Excellent communication abilities, self-driven, and a proactive approach to achieving objectives.
  • Skilled in MS-Office for creating comprehensive project schedules.
  • Membership in a professional organization, such as PMI or APM, is advantageous.
