Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Supervisor / Team Leader to join our small and friendly team at Jenrick Commercial in Walton-on-Thames. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounts operations and ensuring the smooth running of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile day-to-day accounts transactions
  • Manage customer accounts and credit control, including reconciliations and payment chasing
  • Produce customer statements and reminder letters on a monthly basis
  • Reconcile and process supplier accounts, including payments and refunds
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Manage company expenses and maintain accurate financial records

Requirements:

  • Supervisory and team leadership experience
  • Strong accounting skills and experience with SAGE software
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Confidentiality and trustworthiness
  • Data entry management skills
