Electrical Engineer Graduate Role

As a graduate engineer at Hoare Lea, you will have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of tasks within our organization. This will include:

  • Working on various projects across different sectors such as healthcare and hotels
  • Creating detailed designs and drawings
  • Utilizing advanced computer modeling software including Revit, Dialux, Relux, and Electrical OM
  • Conducting site surveys
  • Researching innovative technologies
  • Engaging in continuous learning and development opportunities
  • Within the Electrical field, responsibilities may involve designing Electrical Circuits, Wiring, and Lighting

Effective communication is essential as you collaborate with project teams, clients, and attend meetings.

You will be paired with a dedicated mentor and supervisor who will guide you through your professional growth.

Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, ideally with a 2.1 or above from an IET or CIBSE accredited institution
  • A post-graduate qualification is beneficial
  • Prior experience in a related industry is advantageous
  • Familiarity with CAD or similar software is a plus
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • A friendly, ambitious individual with a flexible and resilient mindset
