Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Equipment Inspector to join our team at Bureau Veritas. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality inspections of lifting equipment, including MEWPS, HIAB, Cranes, and FLT's, to ensure compliance with current regulatory and statutory requirements under LOLER & PUWER.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment to identify any defects or non-compliances
- Operate within agreed authorities, inspection and H&S standards with a clear customer focus and drive to achieve optimal service delivery
- Produce and deliver inspection reports using Bureau Veritas's best-in-class tools for on-site reporting and immediate client access
- Act as an advisor to high-profile clients and deliver customer excellence, operating in a professional, friendly, and authoritative manner
Requirements
- Minimum NVQ4, City and Guilds 4, HNC, HND or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification for Lift & Crane
- Current Clean UK driving license
