About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Manager to lead one of our Engineering Squads at Harnham. As a key member of our Data team, you will be responsible for overseeing the squad's activities and ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data engineering strategies to support business growth and innovation.
  • Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions that meet their needs.
  • Plan and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency across the team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading a team of data engineers, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong technical skills in data engineering, including experience with Python, AWS, and CI/CD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
