About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Newly Qualified Pharmacist to join our team and participate in the HEIW Post Registration Foundation Programme. This comprehensive two-year course is designed for the development of recently qualified pharmacists, allowing for a day off per week for focused study and culminating in an Independent Prescribing (IP) course and qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide the day-to-day services of a Community Pharmacist
  • Engage actively in the HEIW Post Registration Foundation Programme, balancing practical experience with dedicated study days
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to enhance your clinical knowledge and practical skills
  • Successfully complete the Independent Prescribing course and achieve the necessary qualification

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified pharmacist status with registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and commitment to professional development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Flexibility to rotate through different departments and adapt to new challenges
