About the Commis Chef Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Kitchen brigade at Potters Resorts. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of fresh, delicious, and quality food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of salads, vegetables, starters, main courses, and bakery section, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Work safely by following HACCP and Food Hygiene regulations, ensuring a clean and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
  • Temperature Checks: Complete regular temperature checks to ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperatures.
  • Stock Rotation: Assist with stock rotation to maintain optimal levels of ingredients and minimize waste.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail to ensure every dish meets our exceptional standards.
  • Time Management: Utilize good time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Waste Reduction: Commit to reducing waste in the kitchen by adhering to menu and portion sizes.

Working Hours:
  • This is a part-time position working approximately 36 hours per week, with a rotational schedule that includes weekends and bank holidays.
  • Straight shifts only, with no split shifts.
