Job Title: Recycling Educator

The Recruitment Co is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recycling Educator to join our team. As a Recycling Educator, you will play a key role in delivering small to medium behavioural change projects, education, and awareness campaigns across the locality, and supporting the environmental development of operational services in the Company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective education and awareness campaigns to promote recycling and waste reduction practices.
  • Collaborate with the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team to identify and address environmental issues.
  • Provide training and support to employees on sustainable practices and waste management.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform environmental initiatives and policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and community groups to promote environmental awareness and engagement.
Requirements:
  • Passion for environmental issues and commitment to sustainability.
  • Proven experience in an educational, environmental, or communications-based role, with a track record of influencing outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation delivery.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to persuade a wide range of audiences to adopt sustainable practices.
  • Aptitude for research, data collection, and action planning.
  • Experience of producing and analysing reports using MS Excel.
  • Full driving licence and flexible working approach.
