Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Civil Design and Project Delivery

Carrington West is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior or Associate Infrastructure Engineer to join their Civil Engineering Design team in Newcastle.

This is a permanent position in which you will play a pivotal role in leading and expanding a small, talented team of engineers within an established multidisciplinary consultancy.

You will work closely with senior leadership to help grow the Civil Engineering team, delivering high-quality projects and developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of a range of civil infrastructure projects, from feasibility to detailed design, including highways, drainage, earthworks, and utilities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop, review, and approve civil infrastructure designs, utilizing industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage.
  • Work with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and assist with bids to grow the Civil Engineering division.
  • Ensure all designs and project deliverables comply with industry regulations, local authority guidelines, and the company's quality management processes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop a team, manage project delivery, and engage with clients at a senior level.
