Service Engineer (Field) Role

Join Luton Bennett, a highly successful manufacturer of forklift trucks, as a Service Engineer (Field) and take advantage of comprehensive training and support. This role is ideal for engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cleaning equipment, or similar.

The Service Engineer (Field) will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts in and around Leicester. No extensive travel is required, and excellent OTE is available through overtime and commission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  • Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements:
  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • IT literate

Luton Bennett offers a competitive salary, paid door-to-door travel, overtime at 1.0, fully expensed van, annual 5% bonus, commission, pension, excellent training, 25 days holiday, bank holidays, forklift driver licence, call out allowance, broadband contribution, PPE/Uniform, uniform washing service, laptop, and phone.
